Welcome to Introduction to Databases in self-study mode. Here you'll find all of our videos, course materials, software guides, and an extensive suite of stand-alone quizzes and automatic interactive exercises. You'll also find exams, the course schedule, and the weekly videos from our fall 2011 structured offering of the course. The material here is the same as those offered for self-study on Stanford's Class2Go platform. After the structured offering in 2011, many thousands of motivated students from around the world have learned about databases using our materials -- either working through selected topics of interest, or completing the entire course. Please enjoy the wide array of materials we've prepared to help students learn about all aspects of database design and use.

Legalese: This course is not currently in session. Individuals may work through the material on their own at their own pace, and can use the discussion forums to help each other. These forums are unmonitored by staff. Working with this self-service material will not result in any type of Certificate, or progress towards a Certificate for a future live course.
